Arnold Palmer Invitational: Missing Its Moment?

Arnold Palmer Invitational: Missing Its Moment?
The Arnold Palmer Invitational is one of the most prestigious events on the PGA Tour. This iconic tournament’s history dates back to 1979 and it is held annually at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, Florida. It features the best golfers from all over the world, with 72 players competing for a share of the $20 million prize money.

As one of the most prestigious Signature Events on the PGA Tour, the Arnold Palmer Invitational is considered elite and that means there is limited space on board each year and only the best and most in-form players are invited. This year, defending champion Scottie Scheffler, 2018 champion Rory McIlroy and current world number 3 Xander Schauffele, who recently returned from a rib injury are the leading players invited to the tournament.
