Shane Lowry Eyes Career-Best World Ranking at Arnold Palmer Invitational

Shane Lowry aim to achieve his best-ever world ranking when he competes at the prestigious Arnold Palmer Invitational this week. The Irishman moved to 17th in the official world golf ranking after a superb finish at the Cognizant Classic on Sunday. His career-best ranking to date is 16th, achieved after winning The Open in 2019. Lowry now sets his sights on surpassing this milestone as the Arnold Palmer Invitational kicks off on March 6 at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, Florida.
The 37-years old has a good record at Bay Hill, having finished third at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last year. Shane is also currently 18th in the FedExCup on the PGA Tour as he sits comfortably in the top 20. He is also currently fifth in the European Ryder Cup Rankings, and on course to automatically make the team in August.
